The Backs

For part two of your tour of Cambridge, we went on a walk along the Backs. The Backs are basically the part of town that has a lot of greenery and looks on the back of the colleges, so it's aptly named.

Keri on the bridge near Trinity Hall, with the River Cam in the background.

A view of the backside of Trinity Hall.

Trinity Hall, and a little bit of Kings College.

This was part of St. John's College, and we just thought it was a really pretty tree-lined walkway.

A gorgeous view of Kings College Chapel, and yes, those are cows in the foreground! I believe these cows belong to the college, but I could very well be making that up.

The punts at sunset - which means it was about 10:00 or 10:30 at night. The sun also comes up around 4:30 in the morning because we are so far north - London is apparently even with Nova Scotia. It's very nice in the summer to have so much light (between rain showers anyway) but in the winter, it's the opposite.
